    Gymnasts Cast out of kips

    This year my bars have not been the best. I just competed states and I have not gotten over a 8.75 on bars. Before I move up to level 5 I need to cast directly out of my kip. I have a really nice extension and my arms are straight. It would be really helpful for some advice. Thank you!

    This happened to me a month ago, The best thing to do is to put bag balm on it. If you do not have that, Neosporin works just fine. Then cover her hand with a band-aid then put a sock over it. Try to prevent the rip from becoming dry because that can lead to cracking. At the met put tape on it...

    Well, to join a competition team she will need to hit all the requirements on every event. She is old enough to join. A tumbling class would work too, but also remember to work on the dance.
