Ok, so a while ago, I was practicing my backwards walkovers and I sort of fell over, but I didn't land on my head or injure myself or anything but it gave me a real scare. Anyway in real gymnast spirit I got back up and did my walkover again and I was fine. Anyway, a few weeks later the same...
Hey guys, I would love to write a personal poem for you guys, you just need to tell me what you need it written about, such as the fear of a new skill or giving up. I did this a while ago and wanted to start it up again.
Here is the link to my old thread where I did the same thing, so you can...
Here is your poem Itstrueimagymnast I don't have a title for it, but I guess you could make one up if you wanted. I'm sorry if it isn't what you wanted
You're frozen, scared, stuck to your spot,
You're not sure if you can do it,
But if no-one ever tried something new,
Gymnastics would have...
Finished!
Okay here is your poem, I would love if you could give me some feedback as to what you think! and if there is anything you don't like about it just tell me and I'll try and fix it.
Persistence
It's another one of those days,
You're sweating in the gym,
Nothing seems to be working...
Here are a few examples of some poems I have written so far
Poem 1
When the sweat is pouring down your face,
You feel so tired and weak,
You wonder why you drag yourself here,
When progress seems so bleak,
And yet, you have limped in for more,
With your courage slightly battered,
Your not like...

Our gym has the three types of gym, Men's Artistics, Women's Artistic...
As some people have already said it is better to start early, I am currently 14 and have been doing rg for 10 years, i guess it depends if you are starting rhythmic straight up or if you have come from another sport. A girl who used to do artistic started rhythmic and they immediatly put her up...
Well, being a rhythmic gymnast I have two gym bags that I keep everything in, one that stays at gym and one that I bring home every night.
I have, my ball, rope, clubs, 1 theroband, one theroband with a hole in it, a pair of weights sewn back together because they got a hole in them, vicks...
Cynical_Chick! that annoys me so much too! especially when your like "i'm a gymnast" and they go, so like bar and beam and stuff right? and your like noooo ribbon and hoop and clubs etc. and then they give you a weird look as if that isn't real gymnastics. IT ANNOYS ME SO MUCH!
