I think the leotard looks fine. A little lower on the hips makes that big of a difference to you guys? It's a leotard, not exactly the most conservative, modest things a girl can wear. They both look beautiful in it and are amazing gymnasts(:
I've had training on Sunday before and many many meets on Sundays. Meets are usually Friday, Saturday, or Sunday just depending on how big the meet is. May I ask what it is about Sunday meets that you dislike? Many other sports have meets/games on Sundays.
Our coaches have told girls to stretch at home before. I did sometimes when I was younger but more when I had been sick, on vacation, etc. I feel that 40 minutes is too long as she probably already spends hours in the gym...
You'd think that as a level 10 I would have figured out what grips I like... but no, not really. So I have bulldogs and they stretch out so fast, they're also too smooth? I don't know if that makes sense but It just feels like I need to get chalk a lot. Does anyone have any recomendations?
Thank you everyone for your responses. To be honest, I don't know what excatly is making me feel overwhelmed... I'm in a constant state of anxiety, insomnia, etc.
When it comes to a gymnast's life, balancing everything and getting stressed out, in your opinion, when is it too far? When is too much, well too much? I'm reaching my breaking point/:
This brought on so many arguments between me, my coaches and my family. It was a stressful and low time for me. It's unfortunate that theres not other way to do it, I personally chose not to get confirmed. Hope it all works out.
Take it from a level 3rd year level 10 who's lost almost everything (and gotten it back). Skills just do that sometimes, especially a kip! Extremely common and expected.
