I feel your pain. My advice is to video her. This lets her see her progress and makes it easier for you to not watch. My DD is horrid at dancing. Her team tells her she dances like a robot - lol! She just goes with it. I've learned that if it doesn't bother her, who am I to worry?
There are a couple of amusement parks around the country that are looking for people with these skills. Most of them have college kids working during their summer break.
We went the last 2 years. It was fun and well organized. I agree with the above. As a parent, I will say that I really appreciated that wine being sold at the concession stand. ;)
Thanks! I talked to her coach and it looks like DD will compete Gold this year. She is actually relieved because she was starting to feel too much pressure as a Platinum.
Eeek! My daughter just go moved up from JO 4 to platinum. She competed level 4 last year. So what you are saying is that she needs to score out of JO5 or Xcel Gold first?!?!
There have been a lot of good points made here but I wanted to add another. Sometimes we know we will have fun once we get someplace but we are just so comfy at home that we don't want to go. I was just complaining yesterday that I had to go out with my friends after work. I didn't feel like it...
