    spotting twisting

    i've started training level 7's the past couple months and i'm ready to have them start working on back halfs. Unfortunately we don't have a pit and I have no experience spotting twisting. Can anyone help me out here by describing it or posting a video??

    changing team structure

    the problem is my gym isn't willing to pay the staff to attend these clinics therefore its extremely low in attendance. the gym just isn't willing to accept that what they are doing isn't working. i hate to but i'm going to have to leave there by the end of the summer.

    water or sport drinks?

    Valleygymmom, Having a MS in Exercise Physiology I'd rec. the water instead of sports drink. As commented previously sports drinks do tend to have too much sugar and lead to a spike in blood sugar and then a crash. As for the snacks at practice....I'm assuming the coach is going in the...

    vault board settings

    I was taught with the new vaulting table to have the board placed at 1.5-2 ft for front handsprings. Another coach today told me they thought that was too close and makes the gymnast unable to get a full stretch before their vault. What settings does anyone recommend?? help
