    We went to the Chalk Talk - it was included with our tickets. We waited in line about 45 minutes. The talk was about 25 minutes so was a little underwhelming. I would have been frustrated if I had paid for it separately.

    We went on Friday - didn't do Gold Squad but as mentioned before it was pretty simple and short. I splurged on the seats - we were 2nd row floor. It was amazing and my kid will never forget it. Jade Carey waved and said "hi" to my kiddo. I'm glad I spent the extra on those seats and not Gold...

    I know you said you don't want to question decisions but I think you should ask some questions. Transparency with athletes and families is really important in this sport. At the very least you should be able to talk with her coach/coaches and understand why the decision was made, what she needs...

    Ouch. This could be my kid (it's not). I still support her journey in this sport and consider her a gymnast. Is she ever going to be a level 10. Nope. But that is not what I am investing in.
