I'm looking to get a new pair, and I usually go for reisport. However, they tend to not last me very long- usually about 4 months, which is a bit annoying because I have to keep wasting time working new ones in. I know reisport does double leather ones, but I'm not sure I want to risk buying...
I'm looking for suggestions for some good snacks/small meals that are healthy, high in protein(not all have to be), and also vegetarian. There's a lot of posts about snacks during gym, but not much on food during the day. I tend to get hungry a lot, and it seems to be hard to find healthy food...
Ok so the time has come for new grips, and leaving the old pair has been an emotional decision(more necessary because tape is holding the whole thing together). I have a pair of reisport velcros that i have been trying to work in for a few days(usually do a few giant sets after i finish my work...
Does anyone know any little tricks to stop hitting my feet. I understand it's easy when you're a tiny 11 year old, but how do gymnasts over 5 foot do it. I just need a way that will always work, because I can do the skills but sometimes when competing the bars are closer and I hit my feet.
Thanks:)

After having moved to a new gym I thought everything was good... And although I had that nagging feeling that sometimes I didn't want to go in I thought that was just normal to a new environment.
We just recently started competition prep and I started to realise I don't really want to be there...
Just wondering why some gymnasts aren't doing gingers this year anymore (Gabrielle Jupp at American cup and bailie key at jesolo) they both have swapped to jaegers, when they had beautiful ginger a couple months ago.
Is this because of the new code or just preference or something?
I got new grips with double buckles:) my only problem is I can't get used to them and they feel like they are going to slip off my wrist bands( I'm used to Velcro) .
Should I just spend more time doing basics?( my coach will get fed up soon)
im trainning elite in usa.
i tend to get upset when stuff doesnt go right, or like when stuff is scary(like double doubles)
anyway my coach says i have a bad attitude and that it looks like i dont want to train and that i never have fun, but im just not that type of happy expressive person.
im...
