We might be doing miss af but like everyone else it is a big ask of 7 year old to learn two completely different sets of routines, so only time will tell.

DD went to the last 2 performance pathway squads, she loved them her coach also said they were great, I think it's great to see smaller clubs can get mentored to bring more in age kids into competiton
My dd2 has this same problem, she sees a therapist who said it is to do with her hyper flexible shoulders and the joints, she has them massaged and unknotted and that helps, they were also causing her to have headaches because of how knotted up and tight they were getting
@Jenny she is 11 and the same height as me! Her growth spurts led to her losing countless moves and confidence, she was never a natural gymnast though, sometimes more a social one she has just started moving over to trampoline where they love her long legs! DD2 has started getting her moves back...
I agree with most of the others, if this is your gyms way then that is the way it will always be. Maybe best to look around, gym switch is hard but it's worth thinking about.
