Thanks for the info and tips!! I know cell service is pretty bad out there. Any advice on how they can reach home once a day? I figured I'd send her with a cell phone just in case. Also, is Sunday just a drive in/fly in day, and do kids leave on Wednesday afternoon after awards if they drive in??

My DD will be attending the Tops B camp in Dec. as a 10 year old. Has anyone's daughter ever been to the B camp? Do they test their physical abilities, or is that just A campers? Any advice, tips for my DD?

Yes, she made it! This was her first year to test. The email to our coach said the list will be on website on Monday.

Do most of your gymnasts homeschool? Just curious how it all works if they get selected for A or B team and have to miss school. Are your schools flexible and understanding with their schedules?

I understood Kim Riley to say last Monday in October.

I believe they said in the meeting at the ranch that they would notify coaches first and then post it a couple days later on the website. Kim Riley also stated it would probably be last week in October before she'd get a list out.

We tested as a 10 year old and had mostly high 8s on routines. We were told there were much lower scores than that but I'm sure there were also much higher scores than that also.

This weekend was our first ever National TOPs testing at the ranch. I have to say it was a great learning experience for my daughter. Truly an amazing experience overall. Now we wait to find out if she did well enough to make Team A or Team B. Keeping fingers crossed bc she can't wait to back...

We still aren't sure what exactly happened other than we knew our kids scored above the 142 mark and their names weren't on the list. We thank fully had a picture of our girls score sheets to send to Kim Riley. The total score was not on them but we knew how to get an estimate of what the score...

Yes, we did! Thank you for asking! We got word this past Tuesday that my DD and two other teammates made it and were added to the list!
