    Changes to the WAG program.

Our current L2 NDP's are only moving up to the new L3 ... one or two were given the option to move to L4 but chose not to. Currently the L2's do 6hrs/week training - this will only increase to 7hrs/week from next year. Some of the other parents are questioning the "low" training hours for next...

    Hand Rips

Thank you for your advice, I have access to duoderm so I have used that for now! She trained tonight but I was at work & haven't seen the outcome of today's bars session. Good to know they can't really be prevented - I'm still a novice gym mum, learning more each week! Her head coach...

    Hand Rips

DD has come home from training tonight with her very first rip - luckily not her dominant hand! It's only small but I'm not sure how to manage it and ?prevent it happening again. Any wise words you can give me?? Thanks in advance!

    Changes to the WAG program.

ruby&jack, is that what L4 are doing this year - 10-12hrs? I would be much more comfortable with that than 15.5hrs .....

    Changes to the WAG program.

Thanks OzZee We are only in L2 this year, I was looking at the 'Skill Content" document on the GA website and considering if my daughter would then be graded as a L4 for next year as she can do a lot of the skills listed .... Which then got me thinking that if the "new L4" is kind-of the...

    Training.

Hi, we are in Sydney, about to go into level 2 and we do 2 x 3hr sessions/week. At worth did really well, I had the pleasure of watching them at the State Club Championships in Rooty Hill in Sept, they did so well! How many hours training do they do??

    Skipping Levels NDP

Hi All, thanks for you replies. We met with the head coaches and had a good chat. The gut feeling of her Dad and I is just to continue into level 2 and not skip it. She likes the girls in her group, and she also likes to do well at comps, which may not happen should she skip, so my daughter has...

    Skipping Levels NDP

And we have small competing groups, too. Only 8 level 1 girls across junior, intermediate and senior, I think it's the same in level 2 and 3.

    Skipping Levels NDP

We are in NSW - at our gym level 1 prep is 3hrs, level 1 and 2 are 6hrs, level 3 is 9 hrs per week. The higher levels I'm not sure about. My daughter is 8 1/2.

    Skipping Levels NDP

Thanks, I have no gymnastics background so have little idea of what generally happens. The coach approached us today to ask if we would be interested. My DD is motivated by learning new skills but is as equally, if not more, motivated by success so we are concerned that she won't achieve the...

    Skipping Levels NDP

Just curious on people's thoughts about skipping levels in NDP eg going from Level 1 to 3. Does this happen often? Would you let your child? Thanks in advance :-)
