When my DD gets them they're usually on the ball of her foot or the arch. I wrap duct tape around the whole width of the foot over lapping it at the top of the foot. I put it on at night then take it off the next night for her to wash her foot then another piece goes on as soon as it's been...
Congrats to your DD! [emoji3] yes it is huge! [emoji23]
She gets to handstand position so just needs that extra power to push herself over.
New gym does not condition half as much as old gym & she's actually just commented on that yesterday saying she thinks they need to do more as she feels...
Thanks.
It is yes CG6 ..she was hoping to do Compulsory 5 but she hasn't got her giant yet so the coach made that decision weeks ago. She's just happy to be doing any comp & looking very much foreword to getting her giant, she's quite close (other gym didn't work them) & working on other...
Just an update:
Made the move she's loving the new gym as she does more hours, has a smaller group & will compete starting March. Im happy too as it's over the road from my house so I get to go home The head coach being strict but lovely is a big part of us both loving it too!
Thanks for...
My message will be very long & I've just typed one in reply to a PM so I thank you three & will certainly message you tomorrow as I need to sleep now but the more thoughts the better & I appreciate it.
Is there anyone happy to private message with me to discuss my conundrum on if I do it or not?
I don't want to post all the details for public viewing incase someone picks up who I am & the decision gets made for her!
My DD is 7 and started baby gym at 18months and now does 9.5hrs a week..goes up to 11.5 starting next week! Gymnastics is her true love but I've given her the chance to do other stuff over the time. She did baby ballet from 2.5yrs and gave it up at 5 as she was not in bed until 9pm the night...
I wasn't happy, one of the coaches told me to get the long wrist bands for her legs as it was the weights rubbing up & down that caused the cuts. It's not happened again since using the long bands but her ankles are scarred from those previous ones.
My DD is 7 and has been using ankle weights since she was 6. They use the when conditioning and this includes bar work. Her little ankle are so slim that she got terrible cuts from them, bleeding galore and couldn't wear shoes for a few days after the worst one. I bought long wrist bands and she...
My DD goes to a HPC. I started her in baby gym there at 18 months, the year she was was going to school aged 4.5 she moved into the rec class and the baby gym coach told me she was putting her in a specific class as she thought she was elite material - I was shocked to hear this and was told my...
Oh we will enjoy our holiday but Dd will enjoy it more if she gets to go to a U.S. Gym...Brandy J has also said yes..so we're sorted again and I can't wait to give her the news when I collect her from school today.
That's the problem Jenny, the programme they give her is supposed to be done every day and out of our 3 weeks we only have 5 days that will give her time to do it. If we are on a beach holiday it is not a problem to fit in at all.
No I'd said a 3 week holiday to Disney. I too can completely understand it's just the conflicting information.
Ace had already said she could go there & I've been told Brandy Johnson is closer to where I'll be so I'm going to try there tomorrow.
Yep - apologised for whoever sent the email but said no one is admitting they sent it & then what I was told on the phone. I've had no reply to the email I sent in response to their email asking why.
