    WAG Thigh Muscle Pain/Soreness???

My thigh muscles have been hurting alot. They mainly hurt when I run, squat, or or tighten those muscles (like in a pike stretch). It started when I did a fly-spring at practice two days ago, and landed extremely low in more of a deep squat. I had ran alot that day, so my muscles were already a...

    WAG Favourite event?

Beam and Bars are my favorites, but most of the time it is beam :)

WAG Playing it safe or standing out?

Definitely stand out! My music is pretty unusual too, but it fits me and that's what makes it unique. Think about it...the people that make the floor music wouldn't sell it if nobody liked it ;)

WAG Is it possible to get a BHS without a back limber?

Definitely, I got my bhs before my back limber. The back limber requires a little more shoulder flexibility than the bhs, even though it looks like the same skill. Shoulder flexibility was and still is one of my main issues...

    WAG Xcel Hours

Every Xcel does 4 hours at my gym, 2 hours each practice, but at different times depending on the level. My gym will also add an extra 2 hour practice in the summer to bump it up to 6 hours.

    Life After Gymnastics

Sad you're leaving gymnastics, but am glad you're listening to your body and are excited to move on with your life :) Diving should be fun, and a bit less stressful on your body :) Sounds like you got really far and have no regrets in your gymnastics career :)

    WAG Aerial full beam dismount

You're allowed one "C" element in level 8, if I'm not mistaken. So you could use it :)

    WAG Grips

I like Reinsport...those are easy to break in and work really well :) When I ordered grips, the website told me if you fall in the middle, always go up.

    WAG Backward fears

You could try hypnosis...I've heard it works really well. Otherwise, I agree with most of the other posts. Relax, not make it a big deal, and have no pressure on her.

    Comp soon and no routines

This has happened to me too, we finally got my routine choreographed two weeks before the competition. If you do have to choreograph it yourself, you could ask other coaches or teammates in your gym for ideas :)

    WAG Floor proformance

Ok then, there are deductions for that, such as ''artistry'', ''creativity'', ''quality of gymnast's movements'', and ''expression'', but the maximum of those deductions that can be taken on each floor routine is 0.3 tenths.

    WAG Floor proformance

From what I know I believe there are ''artistry'' deductions but they're only a tenth or so. It also depends on what type of ''dance'' you mean. Are you talking about the choreography or the leaps/turns? I'm not the best person to ask...Maybe ask your coach or coaches on here...

    Has anyone seen.....

What?!! Crazy!!! Was that a USAG Meet? If you see that again, notify USAG immediately!!! Scary!!! I'm sure almost none of the teams went to that meet again...

    Has anyone seen.....

Haha, totally agree with you! I remember at my old gym, the head coach bought one of the mini bars for the younger kids, but even the younger kids almost never used it...They always complained it was to "squeaky". Honestly, I don't blame them! Sometimes I wonder why gymnastics companies still...

    Favorite protein bars and drinks?

I eat Premier Protein shakes, they have 30 grams of protein, 50% daily value in calcium, 3 grams of fat, and 160 calories. You can go on their website if you're interested in more nutritional information. They have vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry cream flavors. I love them and would...
