Thank you!
By shoulder flexibility, I presume you mean when our coaches have our arms up above our heads while they push their knees from behind our arms?
I wish I could do cartwheels/handstands with my left hand/side. Than again, I hardly ever practice switching yet (I want to perfect it first in general before I try that).
Just curious. We've done a few back flips in the gym occasionally. I was wondering, for a beginner, would not being able to do a split/very flexible prevent you from doing a back handspring?
She's on a new CBS show 'Flashpoint' now! She looks beautiful, hasn't aged at all. Congratulations as well, she is with child and expecting in the fall :)

You can view more Perfect Body screen captures here by the way. If you're interested, there are a few great compilation of clips of her doing gymnastics if you search 'amy jo johnson kimberly gymnastics' on YouTube :)
Well this looks like a thread for me! LOL. And as a matter of fact, I do think your idea is clever :) I don't have extra clear or particular big pictures but I'll go through my things and see what I can find!
Somewhat on topic, I made a thread awhile ago in search of any videos clips of Amy Jo...
I remember that episode! She was pretty good.
Not a movie either, but you can see Amy Jo Johnson training and displaying gymnastics skills as the pink ranger Kimberly in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers -- a classic :p
Hmm, I guess this is all we'll find :( She is a musician now (what can't she do?) has a MySpace for her music. I asked her but I'm not really expecting an answer back, lol. She has a lot of visitors.
So maybe I should start a thread about slow progress, lol. Its been bear 2 years and I can't do that much, whilst I'm talking to other people who had the similar situations but they've gotten up on higher levels :(
What do you mean? I'm not asking about the film, I was wondering if there were any videos I can find of the actress in world competition b/c she was a gymnast before she got into acting.
The movie isn't exactly Emmy worthy, but it wasn't that bad, lol.
Does that mean the information is not accurate? Because I don't want to be doing the wrong things, and worse make it a habit.
Yeah, the flash demos were pretty lackluster.
I was Google searching 'front tuck' and I found this great site.

I hope that helps the members on this board, it sure did help me a lot just by reading it :) I can't wait to get to the gym and reinforce my skills.
That was great advice, that was something that has concerned me as well, thanks.
When you speak of warming up before you stretch, what do you mean by that? What do you do when you warm up, and than for stretch [sic]?
Wow, that was so refreshing to me. I was also 16 when I started (*I'm 18 now) and I had these same worries, although I have no plans on competing seriously or the Olympics; I do it for fun. Although I do not have completely non experience, in kindergarten through about third grade we had...

I find this really interesting. I'm really curious to see her in competition now, but I cant seem to find anything and I've been searching for quite awhile. Any ideas on how to find them?
On a side note, she played a gymnast suffering from anorexia in...
