Not everyone has $7500 for a HDHP.

Parents Cant convince daughter to leave terrible gym

What are her goals in the sport? If it's just to have fun are you okay with that? Maybe talk to the gym owners about not having athletes spot her and if there is a day the good spotting coach isn't there ,don't send your daughter?

Parents Repeat level 4 at age 11

They probably want her scores. Ask what their goal is for her and what's holding her back. If you don't like the answer, call around to be evaluated

    WAG nationals in xcel

There is a national xcel Invitational in June. It is an Invitational but if lots of gyms went it could make it more like "nationals"

    Parents Planning for college, academically

Have you considered half time enrollment for high school? There are a lot of academic and non academic benefits to in person school. Is it possible to enroll in a school near her gym?

    Parents Preteam

The fact that your daughter is 6 years old and only in the sport for 1 year (including covid) and you know what a CGM is makes me think you're well on your way if you don't back up and let this be her sport.

    Parents Question about judging favoritism?

Oh wow. It sounds like you're one of the parents they now call "lawn mower parents." You're not allowing your daughter to move on from a slightly unfortunate event. My advice: MOVE ON.

    WAG Unitard for competition

That is great to know. The cost for the actual leo company to do one piece unitard is cost prohibitive.

    WAG Unitard for competition

Does anyone know which leo companies have these and can they match "close" to the gym's set style already?

WAG Follow-up Poll: Should American gymnasts compete for other countries?

Only with either a parent from the country, being born there, or have lived there as a permanent resident for like 10 years.

    Parents Article re; SafeSport

Safe Sport is also for other sports, not just gymnastics. Look at the molestation and rape charges in figure skating by partners. Not even coaches. This is probably why gymnasts who are 18 have to be safe sport certified now.

    Parents Article re; SafeSport

If this is for all Olympic sports, why do they only have gymnasts photos in the headline. Sheesh. Also MANY coaches are parents and some were forced to basically have notes that said "your child is visiting as a friend of my daughter" because they couldn't officially have any minor with a USAG...

    Parents Two travel meets

Travel meets are fun, especially if you can swing an extra day or two to sight see..most girls do not make it to the upper levels so why wait?

    WAG Perfect 10s

Was it really a 10.0? I wasnt at that session, but noticed some high bars scores in that session especially and when looking the girls didnt normally score that high on bars.

    WAG Attire deduction

More and more "lacking a back" Leos this year! It is sad to me for the girls who need a bra. They shouldn't be worried about having a supportive bra/coverage and such. It isn't even like those Leo's are super gorgeous either.

WAG Skipping levels 4 AND 5?

What would be the reason given? 3 to 4 is a big jump, and a kid getting 38+ should have enough skill/ability/strength to get the skills for level 5 in 10ish months.

WAG Skipping levels 4 AND 5?

Ok, if it's just a few meets post states, that's different than waiting 9 months to still work level 2 skills. Much different. She better be level 3 in the fall! :)

WAG Skipping levels 4 AND 5?

Looking, they had their first meet in September, so 10 months to clean up and mature for level 3. I think the gymstagram people all know the skills she is working on... It isn't like she is missing skills, she was doing 10+ hours a week and repeating level 2! It isn't even a required level. I...
