Their routines/skills for platinum and L6 are probably very similar. I don't know the rules for 6 but I'm guessing the routines could just be modified a little to work.
The chart and rules are on pages 80 and 81 of this pdf on the usag website. She can transition to L7 by either scoring a 32AA at one L5 or L6 meet or by petitioning in since she is 12 or older.

Out of curiosity, I just checked previous meet scores and 2 of the girls that were with my kid in level 4 did not score 36 twice and are now multi year level 10s scoring from 35s to 37s. (There may have been others that did not score the 36 twice. I only checked the ones still competing.)
I...
I think that this is the most recent vault chart for Xcel but you can check with your coaches. If you are going to stay platinum, try upgrading to a vault that starts at a 10.0 because a 1/2 on 1/2 off is a 9.9 start value. There are some vaults allowed in diamond that are not allowed in...
Talk to her coach or check the state meet website. They might do something special for seniors at the meet. Whatever you do, don't contact the meet host directly about it. At our state meet, they have the seniors fill out a form at least a week or more before the meet. During the awards...
Honestly, that seems ridiculous to force them to get the skill to move up when meet season doesn't start until December. At both gyms my kid went to, they uptrained for the next level after states until July/August when they were told their new level. Our first meet was usually Nov/Dec. That...
Could she move to platinum instead of 6 if she doesn't get the skill? That is definitely frustrating because there is no usag requirement for level 6. At both of dd's gyms, that was one requirement for moving to 7, not 6.
There is a Buy Nothing facebook group where I live. It's great! I was able to give away a couch and other random things. People post all kinds of stuff to give away like clothes, toys, household items. You can even ask for something that you need.
A lot of teams post videos on social media so you might want to follow some DIII gymnastic teams for colleges that you might consider going to. Then you can see what skills they are probably looking for.
I'm not sure if there is college recruiting with Xcel gymnasts. Maybe someone else can give...
My kid did the 1/2 on -> 1/2 off. She did a 180 twist to hit the handstand on the vault and then a 180 twist off so when she landed, she was facing the same direction as the run. In Xcel, the 1/2 on -> 1/2 off and the 1/4 on -> 3/4 off have the same start value. Not sure about the other programs.
Both of the gyms where my kid went have day and night training groups for DP only. At one gym, the day group is invite only. At the other gym anyone can join the day group when they are level 6 and up.
Do you have a team handbook with a written policy against it? If not, I wouldn't worry about it and would not contact them again even to apologize. They may have seen it and just ignored it. I think the biggest problem that they have are parents asking for meet schedules before the meets happen.
