DD’s old gym they were all local within an hour or less, gym that she has been at for 2 years most are 2hrs away with 1 being 5hrs away (Manhattan Classic) it’s optional and everyone stays over
Unless it’s completely different in Massachusetts I know you can come move over anytime from JO to xcel and also if you compete level 5 you have to do platinum
Never heard of it. My DD has suffered from
It for almost a year and seems to have ended just recently (fingers crossed). She found ibuprofen before practice, an x-brace and then ice and massage after practice seemed to help. Athletic sneakers with inserts only. She did grow 3 inches this year...
Has anyone heard any reviews on the Simone Biles camp? My daughter wants to go next year, but we live in Massachusetts so I need to make sure it's worth the drive/money. Thank you for any help
hoping someone has experienced this before: DD is in the 4th grade and is 10 she will be excel diamond next season (fall) she eventually wants to do high school team also. My ? Is there enough skills to learn and perform for that many years? If not what happens to her til high school team? As...
Update: it went great! She made the team, they even felt she could be ready for xcel diamond for next season (fall). Not sure how I feel about it though she would be sooo much younger than all her teammates. She will finish up with her gym for this season and move at the end of June
Thanks everyone! DD has had a fairly good season so far (36 AA) but States has not happened yet. She has a tryout for a more competitive gym tomorrow and hubby was wondering if they could put her on Gold. She will definitely repeat Platinum which she is fine with, but would be upset to go back...

Thanks everyone ! She continued eating a snack beforehand (raisins, bananas and a bite of 2 of a protein bar) and then ate a small dinner when she got home. So far so good.
It's lower issues. She did have a large snack tonight: 1/2 cup milk, banana and some rice cakes and was fine. So I guess we will do the same tomorrow night, just a pain to have her eat dinner at 9pm. We are keeping a food journal to see if there is a pattern. Thank you for all the suggestions...
Dd has always eaten dinner before practice, but just recently she has started feeling sick before gym. She spends quite a bit of time running to the bathroom. She isn't sick before eating. So this morning she told
She isn't eating dinner before practice. It is only a 3 hour practice but we don't...
Our gym does the maximum skills for each level at least for the first meet of the season and then if a girl has an issue with a particular trick they change it.
Hoping this is in the right forum. This is my DD's first time picking her own music, she would like Dolly's 9 to 5. I have goggled and can't seem to find it, am I looking in the wrong place or does some songs just not have what I need? Thank you for any help
