Parents Screen time
Mine is 13 in a few days and has a phone which she does take to school for safety ( walking and calling For lifts) but school rules no phones allowed out in the day ( we are in the U.K.) She also has an iPad but lImits for games/ YouTube are 1.5 hours a day. Parents Doing a happy dance
I did gym and trampolining at uni back in the late 90s and comps were a blast for all abilities - in fact my best friends at uni/ party times mostly came via those two clubs. I’d also recommend adult gym as well as there are so many levels and events there too - been there and done that and...- Bex08

Parents Exercise-induced migraines?
A girl at my daughter’s trampoline club got these around the age of 13. Every time she was upside down she ended up dizzy and vomiting. Sadly she had to quit as the doctors suggested it wasn’t safe. I think she was very rare - This is only the second time I’ve heard of this.- Bex08

Parents Only flexible when doing leaps
Hi. My daughter is 12 and Competes in trampolining but also still does gymnastics for fun. when she 5-8 she trained around 9 hours a week and was fairly flexible ( hyper splits both legs, east straddle press). Currently She’s not naturally flexible and can struggle to Touch her toes sometimes...- Bex08

80s gb gymnasta
I know Lisa didn't do 88 Olympics as Karen Hargate and Karen Kennedy were on the team, I'm sure and Lisa Grayson reserve ( great gymnast)... I wanted to know what happened as Lisa Elliot was clearly at the top of her game..so what happened at Olympic trials.. Emma Webber seemed to not really... -

Anyone know what happened to these girls.. Lisa Elliot...she was British champ in 86 87 and 88. How come no Olympics? Also Emma Webber won junior gymnast and looked strong...where did she go. Did she compete as a senior? Were there any other gymnasts of late 80s which has interesting stories? -

Oh that's so sad, is your junior in artistic or does this run into other disciplines? My child isn't in artistic and coaching seems fair and good and she is happy. -

So what is going on with BG?
I've read pretty much what you've written above. I wonder if anyone has deeper insight, I don't have a child anywhere near level or know anyone who is but it's sad if there is a huge problem and stress on the gymnasts.
