MAG Boys Gymnastics More Laid Back Overall

My oldest DS competed for about 6 years. He has since moved on to another sport. I have become a lower level judge for boys/men's gymnastics...I find judging a boys comp less stressful than helping with scoring for a girls comp! Much more laid back and lots of smiles... Even from the higher...

The waiters and waitresses take turns singing the whole time you are there.... It was like being at a Musical/dinner theater/party... Had a blast...

My daughter didn't attend her summer camp- does it matter?

HI, I sent my son to a gym camp last summer... it was great for him as there were many more boys and he got to work with some great coaches... but.... it took them a couple days to "feel out" what level he was in... and he didn't really work on anything that he wouldn't have worked on at his...

    MAG What to wear?

When my son first started he wanted to wear a singlet and shorts to gym every day (he was seven at the time). Now that he is in middle school he prefers shorts and a t-shirt, which is what the older high school boys wear... yes, we are at the age when what you wear matters now! In the summer...

Does anyone know why Lizzy Leduc didn't compete at Covergirl classic or at Visa's? I haven't seen her name mentioned in quite a while. Did she leave the sport?

    Overly Involved Parents

Our gym just started a new policy for this year that allows parents the opportunity to view training for 1 week of each month. After that you have to make a special request to view (ie. if a visiting grandparent would like to watch). The coaches will also invite a parent in to watch a new...

MAG Looking for a used mushroom

mushroom My son has the same problem, excels at the other 5 events and just can't seem to catch the technique for mushroom. We ended up building one out of one of those power line cable spools that the power companies use to roll their large wires on. We put foam on top and shaped it like a...
