I've used sticky rice as a binder as well, but I eat immediately as I have found it doesn't keep as well I would like it to. Works well for energy balls rather than bars I think
And Ellie Black! 4th! I believe that is the highest a female CDN gymnast has ever placed at Worlds, or one of the best. So happy. She works so hard, in and out of the gym, to be the best she can be, as does Dave and Keiji. She is setting CDN gym to a whole new standard in my opinion.
And of...
Both my sister and I had checks when we were 14-15 and just started using a cell phone. I no longer need mine to be checked, she is still getting regular phone checks at age 17. Depends on the child, I think.
My parents still have certain sites blocked, with good reason, not that I'd go on...
H-E-double hockey sticks on earth... :p
2 hours of condish every day in the summer. Lots of cardio, including 15 minute run, sprints, beam runs, obstacle sprints, jumps, bike, etc.
As well as normal things such as rope, plank, v-sits, chinups, and hollow rocks. Numbers certainly up in summer...
Hummus and veggies; eggs; beans and rice; quinoa and veggies; oatmeal; etc. Broccoli and peas are packed with protein.
Try greek yogourt also. I get 1.5% plain greek yogourt, and stir in a bit of honey or maple syrup, and all the fruit I can find.
Make sure you're getting enough iron. That can...
I learned mine fairly easily by doing FHS-FT, FHS-FP, FHS-bounder and then FHS-FLO. I would also work running layouts, and maybe punch front punch front.
To know where I am, I always kinda looked upwards in the set and then looked for the floor to know when to land.
Vitamin E ointment on the rip! Breaking open a capsule and putting the liquid on the rip works as well. Put it on religiously and it'll heal very quickly.
As far as toughening... bars and rope, bars and rope, bars and rope, etc.
Coach wants me to compete an aerial full dismount off beam in level 8 or 9.
What is the skill worth (A, B?), and does anyone have a video? I can't find one, and I'm a kid who needs to see it before they do it.
Thanks for the help!
Chenko is better for little females as it is easier to generate more power... not sure about the boys' side.
As a little female myself... I LOVE tsuk entry. Much preferred over yurchenko. I think tsuk vaults should be given more value in the code to increase variety of vaults performed
That sounds great- I'll probably use that tweak for my older group! Forgot to mention that I had them set two strength goals and two flexibility goals also, maybe you'll want to include that.
This may not be exactly what you're looking for as I could only skim.
For my Hotshot group last summer, I printed out a gymnast picture (which they coloured cause they're little and that's fun) with each event named and two lines underneath. I helped them each find two goal skills they would...
