It is funny, because of course Portsmouth NH is named after the Portsmouth you are thinking of. But besides the water and name they have nothing in common.

Isn't most of the States named after us? New Hampshire itself? Either so good they named it twice. Or bad enough to warrant starting again.

Oh yes it is, when I drive around I am constantly amused by the names. When I went to Manchester NH this year I was rather disappointed that it had no Afflecks Palace.
