To: Participants, Parents, and Staff
From: Buffalo Grove Gymnastics Center
Re: Closing
It is with great sorrow to announce Buffalo Grove Gymnastics Center will be closing its doors for the last time Friday, July 31st, 2020. We sincerely appreciate your participation in our program. We would like to thank our staff, gymnasts and parents who have been with us the past 28 years.
Unfortunately, the corona crisis has taken its economic toll on all of us and as a result we can no longer afford to offer our services. Our staff and administration have put forth a tremendous amount of energy hoping their efforts would allow us to stay open. Unfortunately, we have come to realize, it is just not possible.
We have made it our mission to provide children the opportunity to participate in the sport of gymnastics both recreationally as well as competitively. The fulfillment we received watching all the smiling faces that have walked through our doors has truly touched our hearts.
We are proud of the many accomplishments our athletes and service has brought to the community. During these years, we have brought together one of the finest Coaching Staffs in the United States. Their team effort has helped produce several National and International Competitors, World and Olympic Team contenders, and an array of numerous State and Regional accomplishments. Many of these outstanding athletes receivied Athletic Scholarships to some of the top NCAA institutions in the country.
For this, we want to thank our staff for their many years of coaching and dedicated teaching of one of the world’s most difficult sports. And lastly, a special thanks to the parents and children that have passed through our doors. We will miss you all.
Thank you again for a proud 28 years of service in your community.
Sincerely
Gregg Didech, Kelly and Teri Crumley

That sucks... we have gone to their meet... Hawaiian Pineapple... many times.

This so sad. Truly, it is no easy task being a gym owner. Our gym has never had great rec numbers and if I had to compare to our city and nearest other municipalities falls pretty low on the advertising/self promotion necessary and willingness to have camps during holidays, open gyms and parent night out type events. I do worry.
