I am traveling to San Diego for a few days next week for my non-coaching job and am hoping to actually get out and see things when I can break away from the conference. The only other time I've been there was for a couple hours a few years ago, so I'm pretty clueless as to where things are and what's the best stuff to see with very limited time. Hopefully there are some San Diego natives or folks who have spent some time there that can help.
I will not have a vehicle of my own, though I hear there is a bus from the hotel that goes to Old Town and Downtown? I really wanted to get someplace to see seals, but it seems like the best places for that might be a bit out of the way?
Any tips for restaurants, must see places, or advice in general would be greatly appreciated!
