Parents Arm circles on lower level vault

So my daughters level 1/2 coach just told her and the whole team to stop arm circling when punching the spring board on the vault. I've been told this coach has no clue what shes doing. Feedback anyone?

That’s very odd. Our kids require an arm circle on all vaults for all levels.

It didn't seem right. These are level 1 and 2 girls who are just starting to understand gymnastics. The team has its 1st meet in 2 weeks. My dd has been taught since she was 3 to arm circle before punching. A new coach whos only experience is as a level 4 gymnast just changed this and I think its going to be the last piece of icing on the cake to warrant a gym move.
