My DD has struggled with BWO on beam, so now she has moved on to back extension rolls, she can get to handstand, but splits way early. Once she is in handstand, she is already splitting. What would the deduction be?

Thanks

I don't know the deduction but I think it is a really pretty alternative to a BWO. I remember a youtube video of a girl doing back extension roll into BHS in level 7 and it was really really nice. Good luck.

In L6 the athlete is only required to make a 3/4 handstand, which is about 25 degrees from vertical. Possible no deduction on this skill if she passed through full handstand with an early CONTROLLED split to step down, although I'd need to see it. The formal deduction is up to .2 for not hitting the required degree of handstand.
