My son did great at his Future Stars regional testing yesterday. He placed 2nd in the region and qualified to the National Testing. So happy for him!!

Wow, congratulations! The boys team practices during my dds class at our gym. If out that one of the boys there is going on to nationals too! (I believe we are region 2). I always have fun watching the team boys practice - quite impressive!

Finally yesterday we had our future stars meet! We drove 6hrs there and 6 hrs back all in one day! My son qualified to nationals! Super proud of him, he overcame challenges and hung in there. There was no tape measure for vault so he had to guess his steps after a couple practice runs and then the tramp was in the swimming pool area on the tile with no matting on the ground and the tramp leaned to one side corner and they had 4 coaches surrounding it to catch the boys since they were all over the place. I swear all those boys looked nervous doing the routines. Glad that is over!
