Can anyone recommend any? I'm mainly looking for sleepaway though a day camp might be possible depending on location. I am looking for next summer -when my daughter is 8. She will be competing next season for her first time.

I'm not sending DD to a sleep-away camp anytime soon, but she will be attending one of the Region 1 camps. It's 2 days, 4 hours a session.
It'll be her 1st time, but I've heard great things.

There is Woodward West, and any of the big colleges, UCLA, Stanford & UC Berkeley all do camps also! That's all I know off the top of my head!

My DD is at Woodward West this week for the first time as 9 yo. It's about 3 hours north of LAX. She's also attending UCLA as a daycamper next month. I can let you know how it is once she gets home, but judging from the calls and texts we have received she is having a great time.

You can train at Jack Carter's in Arizona but you would have to provide hotel and arrange transportation or something. A lot of gyms do this similar to Geddarts.

I'm not sure if Stanford and Berkeley are overnight camps. Woodward West is.
