Hey guys!
So i have been experiencing lower back pain after doing back bends for a while
(I just started gymnastics)
And my coach said that I should get it checked out because it could be serious
So i went to the chiropractor today and found out that i had a "facet joint irritation" Dr. Ken Chiropractic: Joint Irritation
It can be fixed, and i have to get an xray, but unfortunately i cant go to gym until my chiropractor sees the xray and tells me its ok. But if its not, i cant go to gymnastics until its fixed or it could get worse
:(
So wish me luck that my xray shows that its not that serious pleaseee :D

Thanks!

Awww :mad::(:(. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope that it is something that can be fixed. But listen to the docs cuz u dont wanna hurt urself more.

I'm so sorry to hear about your back. I struggled with back problems for the past 3 years and I know how frustrating it can be. I hope they clear you to go back to the gym soon, but just listen to what the doctor says. If you don't agree with what the doctor said or are not sure you could always go and get a second opinon (if it went that far).

Well once again, good luck with the healing and I wish you the best.

Sorry to hear about your LBP. Be sure to follow any therapy they suggest so it doesn't evolve into something more serious.

Hope your better soon.

Sorry to hear about you injury. You may not want to take this advice and my feelings aren't hurt if you don't. Making the diagnosis your chiro did without any x-rays/MRI is not responsible. See if you can get an appointment with an MD back specialist and get a 2nd opinion. Then discuss both options for treatment etc.

Hope your feeling better soon.

aw i'm sorry.... injuries arent fun - especially the ones where you dont know for sure when it'll get better so you can get back to gym. hope you heal quickly!

Back in gym!!

Thanks so much guys for the good lucks!
Guess what??
I can go back to gym! I have to take it easy and not hyperextend my back...but besides that i can go back on monday!
im so happy!
thanks again!
:D

What wonderful news. Make sure you follow all the Dr's instructions so you don't end up injured again !!

Have a blast !!!!

That's great news! But take it easy.

I've also been reading that a lot of lower back pain in Gymnastics is the direct result of tight hip flexors. Just something to keep in mind.

Also, A sports medicine physician may be better suited to diagnose these things over a chiropractor. Just my opinon.
