First Nationals in the books!

  1. My son finished his first nationals (12yo lev el 8/ JE) and going into it he wanted to be vault champ but he wasn't ready to throw his kas lay which he would have had to throw and land well because of the necessary difficulty to place among these incredible gymnasts. He did place 16th on pommel in the JE division which is VERY good. I am very proud of him. By the time it came to Sunday 8am tech sequences he was spent. He did not do well he in tech at nationals (regionals was his best of the season) but it wasn't terrible either- his scores were really low on pbars and high bar but it was nationals and they were tough!
