Going Pro

Does anyone know if all of the athletes who model for gk are paid to model and have gone pro? I've seen a lot of athletes in their catalog who I assumed were still NCAA eligible.

The younger girls are volunteers. You can fill out a form if you want to be a model and if you are in the shoot location. I thought they might receive a leo as compensation but it says they cant due to NCAA eligibility. The girls like nastia and shawn get paid and have given up their NCAA eligibility

You can receive up to your reasonable expenses (transport, lodging) without running afoul of NCAA eligibility. Best would be for us to all get them to loosen up that "amateur" rule so that you just can't work professionally WHILE you are in NCAA play. I've heard it's under consideration. It's quite undermining of positive media representation of sport IMO. 8 year olds should be able to do gymnastics in a movie without having to predict future interest in NCAA competition. I've called them about this.
