DD landed her BWO back tuck dismount on her own tonight. Naturally she thinks she's going to use it at states next week!

She's determined to do the highbar routine . . . and now this . . .

not sure my nerves can take it. . .

She's cool confident.

It is what it is - if the coach says she can do it who am I to say no

It's just that it's her first yr competing - and it's states!

Sigh

That's great about her dismount and wanting to do all these new skills...but I have the same problem and thank goodness her coach told little monkey that States is NOT the time/place to "try" new things LOL!! So...while LM is doing all kinds of new fun things at practice, she knows that she will be keeping it simple at USAIGC States. Meanwhile, she still has to get through Level 5 States next Sat. This has been the longest week....

I talked to DD this morning and said that maybe she should stick with her original bronze routines and her front tuck dismount for States . . . little miss smarty pants said "it doesn't matter what you do, it's how you do it and you haven't seen me do it" I'm in sooo much trouble when she gets older.

so not another word from mom - it's up to her and her coaches. I'm gonna mind my own buisness and hope for the best
