  1. It is written by a dance parent, but easily applies to other sports and activities our children participate in. I think it helps sometimes when you actually do realize how much this sport costs, to see what you are actually paying for. Someone who is good with words and familiar with gymnastics should write one called "Why I don't pay for gymnastics anymore."

  2. Great read. My head was spinning with ideas. I tell C that she is in gym because of all of the life lessons she is afforded. I think she is the happy go lucky, pleasant, hard working, and highly energized little beauty because of gym. To look back at all she really has accomplished beyond wins makes my head spin with such joy for her. I can't wait to see what she continues to accomplish into adulthood. I thank this beautiful sport for who she is. I know gymnastics isn't the whole of who she is, but it has helped her a great deal.
