Gymnastics Australia (GA) is the peak body for gymnastics in Australia with a vision to enrich lives through Gymnastics. The GA Strategic Plan 2017-2020 and ‘Australia’s Winning Edge’ (AWE) are key drivers of GA’s High Performance (HP) Program. The HP Program provides targeted support for developing elite athletes, coaches and programs in the Olympic Gymsports of Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG and WAG respectively), Rhythmic Gymnastics and Trampoline Gymnastics. The primary goal of the HP Program is to achieve medals at benchmark events including the Commonwealth Games, World Championships and Olympic Games. The cornerstones of GA’s National Program are the National Centres of Excellence (NCE) in Melbourne and Perth for WAG and the NCE in Canberra for MAG.
