ChampionsTX in Lake Travis (West Austin) is now hiring an experienced gymnastics coach to lead our Gymnastics Department. You will have the opportunity to lead our 200+ athlete (and growing quickly) gymnastics program, to develop our competitive program, and to work with a staff, coworkers, and management who are positive, team players, and all about quality!

    The Gymnastics Program at ChampionsTX:
    • Girls Gymnastics Recreational Classes
    • Girls Gymnastics Exhibition Show Teams (5+ Teams)
    • Girls Gymnastics Competitive Teams (New this year!)
    • Boys Gymnastics (Classes and Pre-Team)
ChampionsTX was founded in 1994 and has a rich history of traditions, stability, and is locally and family owned. The ChampionsTX Campus is a new state-of-the-art 25,000 square foot training and family facility located in in Lake Travis (West Austin), TX. Inside the multi-building campus there is a preschool (childcare), tumbling and trampoline area, in ground trampolines, giant foam pit, parkour zone, cheerleading training area, adult fitness, girls gymnastics training zone, GymKids area, pro-shops, and outdoor areas.

Our mission is to build “all around Champions”. Specifically, to create a safe, fun and nurturing environment where students not only pursue goals and conquer new skills, but build memories, relationships, self confidence, and develop life skills.

    Qualifications:
    • Applicants must be hard working, organized, motivated, and energetic team players.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with athletes, staff and parents is essential. Must have good rapport with coworkers and clients/parents/students and strive to consistently deliver competitive, outstanding service.
    • Candidates for competitive team positions must have coaching experience and strong technical knowledge. All candidates must meet requirements for USAG Professional membership.
    • Experience with iClassPro and strong computer skills are helpful, but not required.
    • Must be able to pass a background check.
    • Must be able to provide high school transcript or GED upon hire.
    • Must be respectful, trustworthy, reliable, professional, and upbeat.
    • Must exemplify integrity, community straightforwardly in a positive and productive manner, and have a working demeanor of collaboration and pitching in where needed, or simply “teamwork makes the dreamwork”.
    • We will consider both part time and full time positions.
Compensation is highly competitive, commensurate with level of coaching experience; we believe in paying well for quality coaches. We also provide paid training for courses, camps, clinics, etc., as well as USAG Professional membership fees. Benefits, such as paid time off and discounts for family members, are also available for leadership team members. Running the Gymnastics Department will be like running your own small business, which will be a lot of hard work, requires the ability to work independently with grit, requires a lot of training, management skills, and "not reinventing the wheel", and has a lot of potential for growth when done well. Please let me know if you have any questions over this role when applying!
