Hello! I've recently discovered the world of gymnastics, and wish I had found it before!
I am trying to learn some acrobatics as an adult - and it's hard...

Would it be fine to post videos of my executions asking for correction? Which forum should I use? Thanks!

Welcome!

Best is of course to ask a coach for corrections, but if you have no access to a coach (which is common in adults), your best bet is to ask in either the WAG or MAG forum (depending on wether you are female or male). Make sure you stay safe in a gym though!

Thanks Jared!

Actually I have access to a coach and she is being helpful, but I also have the chance to practice by myself, so if someone competent would comment on my videos it would be really helpful. It’s hard to get strict corrections about form as an adult - the general attitude seems to be that if you can kinda land something safely then you should be more than happy about it, no matter how distasteful is you form. Well, that’s my experience with acrobatics classes, which are not artistic gymnastics classes actually so maybe that’s fair enough.

Anyway I’d like to get a bit closer to proper gymnastics form if I can!

I’ll ask in MAG then.
