High school gymnastics

Ive searched the web and i just cant find the answer. How many girls are needed for a high school gymnastics team? Can anyone link me to the actual rules for HS gymnastics? Thanks in advance.

There is no hard and fast set rule. At meets you can put 5 or 6 (depending on the meet) girls up on each event, then the top 4 scores count towards the team score. The team I coached last year only had 7 girls on the roster, some schools we competed against had at least 12. Our team score was never very good, because we almost never had everyone healthy enough to get 4 scores on each event but since you can go to regionals/states/nationals as an individual, it's not that big of a deal for the girls individually.
