Horse Vaulting (no, the other type)

Oh wow, we used to do that in the pony club. I loved it! Probably because I was quite good at that, whereas my pony wasn't one of the dinky fast ones, so we were completely useless at some of the race type events like slalom through the poles.

I'd forgotten all about it, but it's really good fun. If she has the means I would definitely let her have a go.

We used to have a member here from Germany that did it. She loved it.

I have done it at a horseback riding camp. It was a lot of fun!

I've done it . It's great fun.

It takes a special kind of horse though.

I would think you need a very steady mount, more cart than thoroughbred

We have a friend from Germany who used to do this. I had never heard of it before she told us about it. I think I would have a hard time watching it--it looks so dangerous to me!
