:confused: Are Gymnastics Judges accountable to anyone as to their physical/mental condition at the time they are judging gymnastics meets? I heard a rumor that an Oklahoma Brevet Judge is having extremely serious issues and is attending out patient rehabilitation but yet she has still been coaching gymnastics and judging gymnastics meets and I heard she is even judging one of the college divisional championship meets! I am all for rehabilitation and realizing you have a problem but I was just wondering about the ability to do an accurate job of judging in this stressful condition and if there is any accountability??
 
I really don't know the answer to this...normally there is a head judge at the meet.

Unless the judge is doing a bad job at the meets...there is no reason to do anything? A persons personal life is just that. If the judge is somehow violating the rules (or unable to do their job), then there is a problem. Also...check out the below link:
