Hello all, We just finished our Judges Cup this Sunday and there were about 20 gyms competed in Lv2 about 200 gymnast (give or take). My dd had a good day, she finished 2 first and 2 second and 1st all around with 37.35. This is her first year competing as a lv2 and is 6 years old. Now, with State, do they still group gymnasts by ages? (she was grouped with the 5-6yr olds). Also, State fee wasn't included in our booster fees, any idea on how much they are usually?

The will do age groups at the state meet too. Different states could charge different amounts for their State meets. It could be that they were not included in Booster fees because you have to QUALIFY to compete at State. You can check your State USAG website to see if you can find the state meet fees.

Of course they will still group them by age and have awards for each age division. Unless the state meet is a qualifier for a higher level meet (and for level 2 there is no higher level meet), the state meet is really just another meet but with different awards.
