Coaches Judging

Sorry for the late answer, for my ongoing coaches I make it mandatory to take a judges course. How can you design nice routines without really knowing or understanding the rules? Also the lower levels here are optional routines, so you should really know what are the details the judges are looking for. I think it would not matter that much, if we had compulsory routines here, but even there you should really know the basics. We have so few competitions here, that you have to have another point of view during these than in training.

Judging helped me a lot as a gymnast and even more as a coach, now I think I know all the tricks to get the maximum out of our routines ;)

In fact at our competitions I am the head juge (ja, I know I am also a coach, but I think I can be neutral ;)) at almost every meet, and the most questions and complaints are coming from coaches who never head at least one judges workshop or course (how should they know better...).
