So glad to find this website! I have to gymnast daughters; a 10 year old L5, soon moving to L6, and a 7 year old new L4. I also coached preschool/kindergarten children for 3 years. Meets and judging can be frustrating, but this is a beautiful sport!:)

Hello and welcome to CB! I agree this sport can be very frustrating at times but I love it! I too have two gymmies although only one is competing right now. I have a 5 year old soon to be 6 years old training level 4 and a 4 year old in an advanced rec class training level 2ish.

Welcome! I just joined a couple weeks ago myself. I hope you find it useful. I also have a book coming out called Gymnastics in a Nutshell to be in stores this spring that answers all the questions you might have on how to understand gymnastics a little bit better especially competitive, formats, booster clubs and how parents can help their gymnast. Good luck to your dds!
