I know this is silly. I dont even have a video but here goes.
DD has struggled with vault as so many other small athletes.
She has improved a TON in the last 6 months.
Her vault now has a good run, not the fastest but definitely fast. She has the arm circle. When she hits the table, she is somewhat arched and then she snaps to a hollow immediately after blocking. Sometimes she can do it with a higher pre-flight, and does not arch that much when she contacts the table. In other words, she CAN get close to vertical when she hits the table. she does not have a huge rebound and lands a decent distance from the table, I would say a good 3-4 ft.
We have a table that does not go all the way down. The AAI table goes lower, so she usually does better at the meets with this table.
Where is the bigger deduction, arching on, piking on, or arching off?

The biggest deductions are being too long in support on their hands and not coming off before vertical (they are not aiming to contact at vertical). These are also caused by piking or arching or coming on too high. But piking on is more of a deduction than arching on.
