Does anyone know if it’s a deduction to have 3 of the same skill (back handspring step out) in a level 9 beam routine? The example would be 2 in the series flic-lay-flic, and 1 in the dismount, flic-flic snap full. Sorry to post this in the general forum, it looks like they’re still working hard to get social groups set up. TIA!

The third BHS step out receives no value part credit. Since routine already has 3 other B’s (and likely some from dance) assume probably not relying on it as a counting element. But would lead to a dismount up to level composition deduction of 0.1 since means dismount is now an isolated B. BHS double down is considered a different element though, and could get credit.

Thanks for your help! :) So, back handspring step out-back handspring two feet-full dismount is a B?

BHS step out, BHS two feet and back full dismount are all B skills. The composition rules call for a level 9 to have either have a C isolated dismount, or a B connected to a B flight element. The BHS to back full meets this requirment, so just need to have that BHS count as on element to be fully up to level with no dismount composition deduction.
