Meet Report and Video - First Time Competing GIANTS!!

Alex had a fantastic meet last Sunday! It was a very small meet just us and one other team. Unfortunately our team came in 2nd. Alex placed 2nd AA out of about 10 girls.
They went out of the typical rotation.
Vault was first - 8.725 - Best vault this season! 5th place

Beam - fell on that dad gum full turn again! ARGHHHH - 8.65 - 3rd place

Floor - really nice routine - 9.0 1st Place

Bars - well they were AWESOME! She competed her Giants for the first time and made it over then proceeded to land on her butt out of her flyaway! They entire gym was clapping and cheering for her when she made it over! Almost made me cry!! She scored her lowest score of the season on bars but was WAY happier than any 9 could have made her! 8.2 2nd place

that was a really good giant, especially being the first one she's competed. Soon she'll look back and wonder how she could not ever know how to do it, because it will become so easy...sort of like doing a kip
