So when I land something short, in between my foot and the start of my leg- the crook of my ankle- has an immediate pain that lasts about 20-60 minutes. I hurt it first while doing a back tuck into the grass and was down for about an hour. At gymnastics this has happened at least once a week- I have 2 practices a week-. Is there any way to strengthen this area or some way to tape it to support it? Does this happen to anyone else. It never swells or bruises- so nothing fractured or broken.
