When I do my Rudy(1.5 twisting front layout), I'm dropping my shoulder, so I don't go very high. I've been trying to correct this for about a month and I can't make myself correct it. Do you guys have a drill to fix this?

Rudy off beam? On floor? Off bars?.....And what does your coach have to say about the dropping shoulder?

In the future, a good idea is to spot whatever is in front of you, initiate the layout, and than spot the floor. Usually the shoulder drop is because the gymnast tries to look for the floor to early and they drop the head down first, and which pulls the shoulders down. Drill out that habit and you are good to go.
