This is in the JO Code, not the FIG Code. Same concept, just a different level.Very cool!! But I thought a skill only gets named after you if you're the first to do it in international competition? Am I wrong about that? Either way, good for her
Gotcha..thank you! This is in the JO Code, not the FIG Code. Same concept, just a different level.
LOL! Well, it can't possibly be as bad as the last new skill that shall-not-be-named that this forum has recently talked about...I showed my daughter the video this morning and her response to me was, "this is exactly what I'm trying to do." I love my daughter but the Zuhlke has a better ring to it than my daughter's name.
My daughter does not descend from a long line of (insert shall-not-be-named).LOL! Well, it can't possibly be as bad as the last new skill that shall-not-be-named that this forum has recently talked about...
I think it is funny that she was originally planning to work on something similar to what Arianna Robinson has been competing for Cal in the NCAA (FHS onto board, FHS onto table, front PIKE off for Robinson… and Zuhlke wanted to do FHS-FHS-FT).http://www.flogymnastics.com/articl...ault-at-j-o-nationals-the-zuhlke#.WRveLMtcLqA
Short article with a video
Yep! FHS onto board, tsuk pike. I wish more athletes competed FHS onto the board, I think it's really interesting to watch and a nice break from the usual yurchenkos.I tried and tried to figure it out.
Is it a FHS onto the board, then a half-on onto the table, then a back pike? (yes, I know none of those are any "technical terms", just trying to see if I'm seeing it correctly).
Ahh makes sense...I was coming in here to ask the same question! This is in the JO Code, not the FIG Code. Same concept, just a different level.
What is the start value of her new vault as is?cool, love to see it. now if she twists it that start value will go way up. I bet that will be next.
well, not sure as it is a new vault, but in a nut shell, it's a pike Tsuk (9.5), with the FHS on the board vaults they usually add a tenth onto whatever it is. Like a FHS front pike, is a 9.8 but if you FHS on the board and do the FHS front Pike out of it they give it a 9.9. So I am totally guessing that it was a 9.6. which makes sense. now if she does a kaz out of it then it would bump to a 10, in my opinion. What is the start value of her new vault as is?
Apparently she's planning on making it a tuck full next!cool, love to see it. now if she twists it that start value will go way up. I bet that will be next.
This seemed pretty well executed, but only scored a 9.1. Anyone know the SV?
