Hi,
My level 6 gymnast has been dealing with a back issue and we have seen drs and a specialist just to rule anything out. Diagnosis back sprain, recommendation of PT. have seen 2. First PT said she had no idea what to do for her. Wth?? The next one gave her one session with a few at home exercises and said see ya in a few weeks, but have yet to be able to get another appt with him. I'd like to find someone who knows the sport and knows how to help my daughter use her core correctly and follows a bit more closely. Any SO CA physical therapists you can suggest??

Not too far! Well... Depends on how you look at it. I'm in Oak Glen/upper Yucaipa. Definitely doable! Can you send me info? And they are familiar with gymnasts?

What did PT2 do for the back strain? I currently have a back injury and am about to start PT with TENS, so I was just curious as to what different methods they use!

Vivianflips...well that's why I'm looking for a new PT. He only gave her a couple of exercises that really have made no difference and she only was able to see him once. Sorry... Don't really have much info to give you.

Araemom, I hope the next PT is much better than the others! Thanks anyway!
