Make sure it's deep enough to put most of the fore arm in and put a lid on it! We send our kids to the rice bucket to do wrist circles, (20 in each direction). And sometimes I have them do the alphabet with the wrist. The bucket is placed at the end of our vault runway. It's also very very good for rehabing during any type of upper body injury, because it gets the wrists very strong prior to returning to full duty. But you really need to be strict with cleaning the arm off prior to pulling it out of the bucket (unless you want to pick up rice every day). It's a great tool.
