I was wondering what others do in terms of preventing rips. I rip at least once a week, if not more. It has come to the point where it is difficult to do my skills to the best of my ability because of the pain. Even after a week on vacation, my hands still seem to rip, which is frustrating because I practice 5 days a week. I currently file down my callouses so that they are not extremely raised, and moisturize my hands at night with Joshua Tree Gymnasts Salve. Has anyone else experienced this amount of ripping? What is your advice?

Try your best to keep your hands covered while not at practice and use things like Neosporin and vasalene as much as possible
