Come join us as a Gymnastics Instructor at San Mateo Gymnastics! We are a company who values teaching high-quality gymnastics in a fun and engaging atmosphere. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, responsible, and loves working with children. This is the perfect opportunity to learn and grow professionally, develop leadership skills, and become a part of a community of families and staff members! We are looking to fill positions from Monday-Saturday for our Munchkin classes (3.5-5 years old) and our Boys and Girls Classes (5-13 years old).
Responsibilities:
-Lead children in gymnastics from ages 3+
-Teach body awareness, mindful listening, and directional skills
-Ability to evaluate, correct, and spot children in gymnastics
-Model good behavior for the children and other staff members
-Ability to assess the children's gymnastics skills
-Ensure safety of all children
-Create a fun and exciting learning environment
Experience:
Gymnastics experience preferred, but not necessary; we will train you to teach gymnastics.
Background in working with children, for example: youth athletics, education, team sports, etc.
Job Type: Part-time
Hours are FLEXBILE and based on your schedule!
